MC CorVice

Andrew Brian Boyett, operating under the stage name MC CorVice, is an Alternative Hip Hop artist and multi-instrumentalist based in Ocala, FL. He is a singer/songwriter, rapper, producer, videographer, graphic designer, and convicted felon. As a graduate of Full Sail University with an Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Music Production, CorVice draws from an eclectic range of influences, including Kanye West, Johnny Cash, Trent Reznor, Death Grips, and Marilyn Manson, crafting a sound that’s as complex and multifaceted as his story.

CorVice has performed as a busker on the streets of Sacramento, CA, Phoenix, AZ, and Tampa and Ocala, FL. While his street performances feature a few of his original tracks sprinkled in here and there, most of the set lists are made up of cover songs.

His debut concept album, poignantly titled “Not Guilty,” follows a “man vs. himself” narrative, charting a journey from emotional turmoil to personal transformation. The recurring imagery of crows in his visuals symbolizes communication and change, reinforcing the contrast between light and darkness that runs through his music. He also invokes subversive images of psychological tropes like carefully placed literal red flags in his visuals, among other things.
